I cannot stress enough how critical it is to always make time for God during your day. I don't mean you better run to the nearest church and kneel down for six hours every day, but you should spend time talking and listening to Him daily. You may not have the opportunity to make it to daily Mass or pray a rosary every day, but even just five minutes of turning off the radio and not pulling out your phone to just talk to God will bring you closer to Him. Start small - don't turn the radio while your driving to school and instead have a conversation with God (its awkward at first - you get funny looks sometimes on airport blvd when you look like you're some freak talking to yourself) but you'll start slowly but surely strengthening your relationship with Christ. Say a Hail Mary while brushing your teeth, carry a holy card in your wallet and pull it out randomly to recite to yourself, or (if you really wanna weird your friends out) get to Mass frequently. not just on Sundays. it'll impact your faith tremendously.
So today, I ask you to do something extra with your Faith. Simply sit down, take a breath, look around you, and thank God for creating this beautiful world for us. think that's too simple? then close your eyes and say an Our Father. see? its just that easy.
Make time for God. He made time for you.
