in case you're wondering

My photo
if there was every a perfect example of your stereotypic homeschooled Catholic girl- it would not be me. my Faith is my foundation. my family is amazing. my friends are the greatest blessing imaginable. my life is good.

going green

Green.
if you look around, its the most prominent color. the color of the trees, grass, etc. its ordinary. which is what I like. if you're not comfortable with the ordinary, you won't be able to enjoy life. what's the ordinary? day to day life. those days that you're not at the beach or hiking in colorado. those days that you're not getting married or graduating college. those days that you're just living. breathing in and breathing out. I like those days. why?
because I'm not trying to 'just get by' - I'm taking each day to the fullest :) life is such a blessing that we should take full advantage of each day. my heart sinks when I hear people complain about their life. yes, certain things in life I complain about, but I'm talking life in general. when people get out of bed every morning with absolutely no ambition. they're just waiting around for the next 'exciting' event. as much as I look forward to the wonderful out-of-the-ordinary experiences in my future, I don't want the emotional high of those things being the only thing getting me through. I'm hoping I can stay that way :)

if good things lasted forever, would we appreciate how precious they are?" - Calvin and Hobbes
